About me

Hi there,

I'am Vanessa Hagen and I own Vanessa Hagen Photography. I started into photography for a lot of reasons but I recently just posted a little piece on why I did on my home page if you want to read about it there or I could tell you in a nutshell here!

I was inspired to get into photography as much as I have because I had the burning passion and desire to learn and know how to take better photos and make them look amazing after taking them. I also felt so propelled to do it more often because of my wonderful kids and husband whom I didn't want to miss out on documenting. Life really passes us by within the blink of an eye and because of that I like to document important things in my personal life as well as for others who depend upon me to capture that moment in time to last a lifetime. I owe this wonderful motivation and passion to God. I just didn't know that it would be such a big deal for me four years ago but here we are four years later LOVING every bit of photography and the art form that it is.
